Testing and scope boundaries
Third-party microbiology, analytical, shelf-life, and specialized testing are billed separately. Travel, on-site consultation, and on-site training are also outside the standard project. Major changes to ingredients, active systems, claims, or manufacturing requirements may require a revised project scope.

Formulation Process
The development process begins with your product goals, ingredient requirements, active ingredients, sweetener system, dietary positioning, flavor profile, texture target, and manufacturing method.

- Use appropriate flavoring and masking strategies

Quality and Production Review
During development, samples may be reviewed for factors such as pH, Brix, flavor, aroma, texture, and overall product performance. Microbiology, analytical testing, and formal shelf-life studies are completed by third-party laboratories when required and are billed separately.
Commercialization Support
The final package is designed to help move the formula from development into manufacturing. This includes scaling instructions, production documentation, sourcing support, and consultation with your manufacturer when needed.
On-site consultation and in-person manufacturer training are available at an additional cost.

Before Ordering
This service covers one custom formula with up to three revisions. The scope is intended for formulation changes such as flavor, color, texture, and related performance adjustments. Major changes to the product concept, active system, manufacturing method, or ingredient platform may require a revised scope.
Third-party laboratory fees, shelf-stability studies, specialized analytical testing, travel, and on-site training are not included in the base service price.
